Amess Osram (AMS), a leading global provider of optical solutions, today announced that Aldo Kamper has assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors effective April 1, 2023. Earlier on 30 January 2023, the Supervisory Board of Ames Osram made the appointment and announced this decision. In addition, since April 1, Aldo Kamper has assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer of OSRAM Licht AG, a subsidiary of Amais Osram Group.
Aldo Kamper has nearly three decades of experience in the semiconductor industry and is an experienced CEO. Aldo Kamper started his career at OSRAM in various management positions and was President and CEO of OSRAM Opto Semiconductors. During his tenure, he led the development of microLED technology, dynamic forward lighting technology, and LED technology planning lines for new applications such as plant lighting. I am very excited to lead Emmis Osram and work with a great team and supervisory board members to further enhance our strategic focus and execution," said Kamper.
