BYD Semiconductor Announces Global Shutter CMOS Image Sensor Chip

In recent years, CMOS image sensors have become more and more important in industrial applications. BYD Semiconductor recently announced the release of BF3031, an industrial-grade global shutter CMOS image sensor chip.
The BF3031 is a 1/3-inch 500,000 pixel image sensor chip developed and manufactured by BYD Semiconductor using Global shutter technology, supporting parallel and MIPI digital output interfaces, with an effective pixel array of 838 x 640 and a maximum frame rate of 120fps@full. BYD Semiconductor said, compared to Rolling shutter, Global shutter can effectively solve the jelly effect phenomenon such as partial exposure, skew and wobble when the object is moving at high speed. Currently, BYD Semiconductor BF3031 has been put into the market, and will continue to develop new products of Global shutter technology for other fields in the future.
